Small Errors = Big Setbacks

Small errors in your tracking, diet,or exercise regime can really set you back. Making small mistakes here and there is easy to do but they all add up and can make a big difference to your overall progress.



Here are some ways to help minimize those small errors:

  1. Adhere closely to the plan - Stay consistent with what you have planned out for yourself and don't deviate too much from it. If something doesn't fit in your plan, then wait until later when it does fit in order to stick with the original plan.

  2. Double (and triple!) check - Before logging anything into a tracker or app, double and even triple check that everything is accurate and correct. Small typos can make a big difference in the results you get!

  3. Get organized - Keep your tracking simple and organized so that it's easy to follow. A well-structured plan is key to successful tracking.

  4. Track everything - Track every little detail about what you eat, how much exercise you do, etc., even if it may seem insignificant at first glance. Little details add up over time and can really change the outcome of your progress if not tracked accurately.

  5. Stay focused - Maintaining focus on your goals and staying motivated will help keep you from making small errors along the way. Having a clear goal in mind makes it easier to stay on track when things start to get difficult or mundane.
