I woke up the morning on February 24th, 2110 and said, enough is enough, I was out of shape and getting fatter by the day. I joined one of the “other” local box store gyms, started eating better and saw results. In late April I noticed that I wasn’t as motivated any more. My workouts and diet were drifting back into my old ways, eating poorly and skipping workouts. Another gym membership that lasts for years but only gets used for a few weeks/months….. My problem was I had no direction and no support from “them”.
 
On April 26th I called Jonathan Campbell and set-up a time to chat about what 2110 Fitness had to offer and what they could do for me. After a very informative discussion of the facility and the background into the training, I signed up for what I thought would be an easy class, Cardio Dyne. How hard could riding a bike really be, right? Wrong, I was poorly mistaken. Lets just say that Spin Classes are a walk in the park compared to the effort required and the results gained of a Curt McGorman lead Cardio Dyne Class.
 
I now am a willing participant in the Rise & Shine Classes 3 days a week and throw in the odd Cardio Dyne class from time to time. On average I burn 1000 calories in 60 minutes during the Rise & Shine Class and over 600 in the Cardio Dyne Class. I’m seeing results, feeling better and I’m staying on track with my diet through the support of 2110 Fitness not to mention the consistent butt kicking I receive from Curt and Chris.

August 20, 2011 I participated in the Spartan Race, a 5km obstacle course basically designed to break you. I have never participated in a running event or had the desire to partake in a competitive event. With focused training the support of 2110 Fitness, and especially my team mates, Jonathan & Sally Campbell I finished this event. They both could have finished much farther ahead of me but, they stuck with me and we finished as a team. Probably the hardest thing I’ve ever done physically and one of my proudest accomplishments. I can say I am a Spartan!
 
The support, training and guidance that 2110 Fitness provides EVERYTIME I enter their facility is priceless. It makes each workout that much better and brings me back to give back to 2110 Fitness. The trainers at 2110 Fitness and are personable and adapt the training to me to make me stronger and push me in a non-offensive way, honest and personal. Curt, Chris and Jon are at the pinnacle of their craft and are an example for all other trainers to follow.

"To motivate myself to get to the gym or do any training was close to impossible so I sought the help of 2110 Fitness.   I was unfit and out-of-shape but found it hard to get back into exercising - something I've done on and off over the years but have never been able to keep up for an extended period of time.

Now, instead of something I should do, my training sessions are something I look forward to and derive a great sense of achievement. It is fun, personal and most importantly, I can see and feel how my body is changing for the better.

Chris at 2110 Fitness has designed a training program suited to my specific needs and goals and keeps adding to it as I progress keeping it fun and interesting. Chris has also helped me with nutritional advice and guidance on my out of gym training sessions to keep me motivated and challenge me.

I especially appreciate that Chris understands the need to “have a life” and is creative in finding ways to achieve your goals without giving up your social life and the things you enjoy.

Although I still have some way to go in achieving my goals, I am stronger, fitter and in the best shape I have ever been! Exercising is now a very enjoyable part of my life and I cannot imagine my life without it!"
